The Legend of Zelda
Link is the protagonist and main character of The Legend of Zelda series. He is a young hero who has great power and strength. Throughout the history of The Legend of Zelda, Link has had many adventures. Several incarnations of Link are featured in the game series, including the Link from A Link Between Worlds, the Link from A Link to the Past, and the Link from The Adventure of the Twilight Princess. Each incarnation has his own special characteristics.
Throughout the series, Link wears a green tunic and a cap similar to that of his predecessor, Biggoron's Sword from A Link to the Past. His hair is a light brown color and has a curl at the end. In A Link to the Past, Oracle of Ages, The Minish Cap, and all other sprite-based games in the series, whenever Link faces east in any direction, his sword swings as if he is right-handed. This is due to the sprite being flipped horizontally and is a result of the graphical limitations of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
